The Peak is a media company that helps modern business leaders get smarter, faster on what matters with fun, fast and jargon-free content.

The Community Manager (Events and Activations) will be responsible for strategically building and executing on all Peak events and activation products. These products include our flagship Bet on Canada Summit series running across Canada and our annual Emerging Leaders List and Party, in addition to all new products added.
You will work with the Community and Operations Team to ensure all events and lists are aligned with other Peak products and meet the needs of our Peak Pals (our readers, listeners and community!) and our ad partners.
If you’re creative, business-minded, motivated, and have a strong understanding of the business and technology landscape across North America, we would love to meet you. This role is remote-friendly for all Canada-based candidates.
What you’ll do:
- Own the strategy and execution of the Bet on Canada Summit series. This includes setting a theme, identifying host cities, aligning partnerships, launching an updated website, building event agendas, booking top-tier speakers, ideating on marketing, booking and coordinating vendors and much, much more!
- Launch ticket sales and adjust sales strategy based on community interest.
- Own the strategy and execution of the annual Emerging Leaders list and party.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales to align event content with partnership opportunities.
- Manage event partnerships and partner stakeholders once sold.
- Identify new product opportunities to add under the Community umbrella.
- Make a difference in the Canadian events landscape. We have an audience of 164,000+ across our products alone (and counting), but we’re just getting started. There are many events that garner the attention of these folks. Let’s make The Peak events the must attend events of the year, every year.
How you succeed:
- Experience, understanding and passion for events, community management, or marketing.
